House System

All students at SCG are allocated to one of four houses upon entry to the school. These Houses are an important part of their school network and a way for students to get involved in school life and experience success. The four Houses are named after a star in the Southern Cross Constellation..

The House program involves a number of whole school, F-12 competitions in different domains including sport, academic (debating, public speaking) and cultural pursuits (art, music, dramatic performance) to name a few.

An integral component of the House system are the whole school events such as the annual Athletics Sports, Cross-Country and Swimming Carnival.
