Personalised Learning

Personalised learning programs are developed for students across the school to cater for their diverse needs and interests. Opportunities are often provided for input from families in the planning stages, as well as staff and students, to help ensure the most effective individual programs are implemented.

Examples include:

  • Debating
  • Robotics
  • Chess
  • Mathematics
  • Science competitions
  • the CHIPS Program (Children of Higher Intellectual Potential)
  • the Tournament of Minds
  • After-school tutorials

The various enrichment programs implemented across the school enhance student learning at all levels through additional classroom support, assistance with class work, the provision of more complex and challenging tasks and opportunities to become involved in problem-solving activities with students from other schools, such as through the G.A.T.E WAYS Program.
