Southern Cross Grammar is a vibrant Foundation-Year 12 school with a clear purpose: to deliver tailored learning that expands students’ strengths and abilities and prepares them to thrive on the world stage.
As a school with a small student population together on one campus, we have the unique advantage of knowing each child and providing personalised learning experiences for all students.

Our main intake years are Foundation and Year 7. We accept applications all year round with offers for enrolment made within one from commencement for Foundation and two years for Year 7. Offers for non-intake years (Years 1-6 and Years 8-12) are made as a position arises.
For the best possible chance of an offer, we recommend submitting your child’s application as soon as possible. Our Registrar will be in contact with you when a place becomes available.
At this stage applications for 2026-2027 Foundation and Year 7 are now closed.
Our Process
To join our waitlist, please complete the Application for Enrolment form.
You will be prompted to create a parent account, complete the form, and pay a non-refundable $100 application fee through our online portal.
Once we have received your completed application and application fee payment, you will receive an automated confirmation of your application, and your child will be placed on our waitlist.
Your child’s application will be held on the waiting list until approximately one year from commencement for Foundation and two years for Year 7. For non-main intake years, waitlist families will be notified throughout the year if a place becomes available.
We encourage you to keep your parent dashboard in our online portal up to date with your child’s latest reports and documents. This information is essential to provide us additional information about your child as enrolment offerings become available.
Our main intake years at Southern Cross Grammar are Foundation and Year 7.
For non-main intake year levels, pre-enrolment interviews occur when a place becomes available for your child’s preferred year level.
For Foundation families, pre-enrolment interviews occur one year prior to the start of the new academic year. Year 7 pre-enrolment interviews occur within two years of the new academic year. Offers are usually made a few months before the start of the new academic year.
Families will be contacted and invited to attend an interview with one of our Senior Leaders.
Following the interview, families will have the opportunity to tour our campus.
After the pre-enrolment interview, successful students will receive a written Offer of Enrolment from our Principal. To secure your child’s place, the Offer of Enrolment along with signed copies of the Conditions of Entry and Fees Policy must be returned within the timeframe outlined in the Offer.
Once the Offer of Enrolment and signed forms are completed, a non-refundable Confirmation Fee of $1000 per student is paid to confirm their enrolment.
$500 from the fee is credited to your child’s first term at Southern Cross Grammar upon commencement.

Towards the end of the year and prior to your child’s commencement at Southern Cross Grammar you will be contacted with details regarding orientation days, parent information sessions, and a log-in to our Intranet for uniform, booklists, and key contact information.

When assessing applications, we consider (in no particular order): sibling priority, previous academic reports, and whether a place is available in your preferred year. Submitting an application and/or attending a pre-enrolment interview does not guarantee an Offer of Enrolment.
If your child is on the waiting list in our main intake years (Foundation and Year 7), we will review waitlists prior to one year from commencement for Foundation and two years for Year 7, and will invite families for a pre-enrolment interview.

Yes, you can apply for any year level at any time. However, places in non-intake years are limited and depend on vacancies created by student departures. Applications for these year levels are placed on a waiting list, and families are contacted if a place becomes available.
